Shower Glass Quote

A bathroom renovation in Canmore is rarely finished until the shower glass goes in, and it is the detail most homeowners get wrong by shopping big-box sliding doors that do not fit custom stalls. We handle custom shower glass enclosures as part of our broader glass and window work, templating your exact stall on site and fabricating frameless or semi-frameless panels to match. Every enclosure uses tempered safety glass, required by code for wet-area glazing, and every install accounts for out-of-plumb walls and uneven tile common in older Canmore townsite bathrooms and Three Sisters condo units.

Shower glass layouts we install

Frameless enclosures

10mm to 12mm tempered glass with minimal hardware, clean edge-to-edge look. The most requested option for renovated ensuites.

Semi-frameless enclosures

Thinner glass with a slim aluminum perimeter frame. Lower cost than fully frameless, still a modern finish.

Corner and neo-angle

Angled panels for corner stalls, common in condo and secondary bathrooms where floor space is tight.

Fixed panels and splash guards

Single fixed panel for tub-shower combos and half walls. Lowest cost, still a full custom fit.

Shower Glass FAQs

Frameless or semi-frameless, which do I need?add
Frameless uses thicker 10mm to 12mm tempered glass with minimal hardware for a clean, all-glass look. Semi-frameless uses thinner glass with a slim aluminum frame around the edges and costs less. Both are fully custom-measured to your stall.
Is shower glass safe if it breaks?add
Yes. All shower enclosure glass is tempered safety glass, which is heat-treated to shatter into small, blunt pebbles instead of sharp shards if it ever breaks. It is required by Canadian building code for wet-area glazing.
How long does a shower glass install take?add
Plan on a site measure first, then 2 to 4 weeks for the glass to be fabricated to your exact stall dimensions, followed by a 2 to 4 hour on-site install. Corner and neo-angle layouts with custom hardware run toward the longer end.
